We often enjoy a cold drink or coffee and a cake here. Because the drinks, cakes and pastries are consistently good, and because the person running the cafe is friendly and makes it welcoming, we'll continue to return here. It's in a nice spot not far from the marketplace and the far end of Foss Street, behind the Flavel so it's a relaxing little break away from the bustle of Dartmouth.

Excellent small cafe with outdoor seating and a lovely owner, Rose. We’ve visited twice and we’ll certainly return. Good strong coffees with a generous amount of milk to add, and a tasty food menu. Recommended!

We visited Dartmouth for the day and came across Broadstone Café after a bit of research — and we weren’t disappointed. It was a sunny day, and we were able to sit outside. The coffees were excellent, and the food available was really nice, with some interesting sandwiches and tasty fillings. The lady who runs the café is also very friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. We stayed for a little while, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere before heading off to explore Dartmouth. What makes this café even more appealing is its location — tucked away just off the main streets, yet only a stone’s throw from the shops. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Dartmouth.

A delightful cafe in every way. The friendly greeting and excellent menu choices provided just what we needed to eat and drink. We had savoury and were really tempted by the choice of sweet ..but would have been too full to enjoy our stroll around Dartmouth! Very fair prices for everything in this little cafe and beautifully served.

This is a rather great little gem we have found. The owner's cheese toastie with spices and chilli was lovely and ,y wife loved the mozzarella one. Met an intriguing illustrator too and there are umbrellas to keep you dry also. Keep walking through the art gallery street and you keep going and you'll see it on the right.
